Otter Bar Provides the Finest Gear Available
We provide all equipment needed for our Beginner and Basic
Intermediate programs. However, if you are flying in or otherwise
need equipment, you may make special arrangements to use Otter Bar
gear and a kayak free of charge regardless of which program you are
enrolling in.
We purchase all new gear every year to ensure that we have the
latest and highest quality equipment available and that it is always
in excellent condition.
Our equipment includes:
- Dagger, Wave Sport, Pyranha, Liquid Logic, Jackson, & Perception kayaks
- Werner and 7.2 paddles
- Kokatat lifejackets
- Kokatat fleece & paddling jackets
- Snapdragon Designs sprayskirts
- Cascade helmets w/noseclips
 Please
see our What to Bring list for clothing and personal items you will
need to provide.
We can also arrange to have dry suits, dry tops, and other paddling
apparel from Kokatat Watersports Wear here for you to buy if you
call us in advance and tell us what you want. Otter Bar now has Kokatat's Gore-Tex dry top available for purchase at the lodge.
Guests receive a 10% discount on Kokatat products. Otter Bar guests
also receive a 10% discount on purchases from
OutdoorPlay. Use

*Please note that we do not provide wetsuits or drysuits, however
these items are usually unnecessary by the time our Basic
Intermediate & Beginner classes begin in June.
